What is a half-assed crafter?

After having several blogs in the past, I've pretty much fallen off the face of the Earth as far as blog land is concerned. Mostly I just lost interest in writing out the details of my life and got bored with it. I still read blogs daily, but with working full-time and going to school two nights a week, I just don't have time to keep one up anymore.

So why am I starting a new one?

Well, as much of the population, I have a crafting bug. And now that Pinterest has come about, I have even more ideas. I've been a crafty girl since childhood and now that I have a house, there are so many more spaces to fill with my creations. I'm not good at coming up with ideas of my own, but I can execute something I saw in a picture pretty damn well.

Why half assed crafter?

I rarely follow the precise directions that many other bloggers painstakingly write out on their blogs. I see a picture and I do it my own way. Sometimes this means that my projects don't turn out as professional looking, but whatever. I do my own thing and if I like it, that's all that matters.

One of my biggest kicks is spray painting anything and everything. My husband really loved it when I spray painted out on the grass all last summer so our backyard constantly looked dusted with snow.

Oh, and one other thing. If you expect step-by-step tutorials and minute-by-minute images of the crafting process, you got another thing coming. I am terrible at taking photos of my projects throughout and am lucky to get one of the final project. If you're like me, the final product photo is all that matters.
